Building relationships is the key to Barb Trousdale's success. Her genuine interest in people and desire to assist them in one of the biggest events of their lives is what keeps clients coming back.

Barb brings valuable experience from her tenure as a Town Clerk that benefits both Sellers and Buyers by her ability to research property deeds, listers cards and zoning information. This expertise is combined with her work at an attorney's office in understanding deeds and settlement statements and the closing process.

Barb is a frequent teacher at first time home buyer seminars in Chittenden and Franklin County. Educating buyers and sellers is one of her passions.

Barb has earned the designation of Accredited Buyer's Representative; less than 3% of agents nationwide hold this distinction. The education and training provides Barb with the tools and expertise to assist Buyers in a rapidly changing market.

Providing information to Sellers in the form of a competitive market analysis and pricing strategy is one of the many strengths Barb has.

For the past 4 years, Barb has served on the Professional Standards Board; in this capacity, she and other agents form a panel to hear and make decisions on disputes between members of the public and agents and disputes concerning disagreements of compensation due between agencies.  

Barb is active in the community; she currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Ethan Allen Club and treasurer on the Board of Directors for The Light Radio Network/Christian Ministries, Inc.

Barb is an active member of BNI (Business Networking International, Inc) and has held the positions of President, Vice President and is currently the Education Coordinator and on the Membership Committee.

Barb began her career in 2003 at ReMax North Professionals and moved to Chenette Real Estate in 2005. It was at Chenette Real Estate that her husband Curtis partnered with her to form "The Trousdale" team.

On January 1, 2008 Barb and Curtis formed their own agency, Attacca Realty.

Curtis brings his 15+ years of sales and customer service experience to Attacca Realty with a unique background well suited to the real estate industry. 

Educated as an architect, former President of Panurgy Corporation, and immersed in high technology, Curtis blends these into an unbeatable combination for his customers. 

Curtis began his real estate career at Chenette Real Estate in 2005. He successfully earned his Brokers license in 2007. Curtis is the co-owner and Broker of Attacca Realty which he formed with his wife and business partner, Barb on January 1, 2008.

In 2008 Curtis was appointed to the Government Affairs board for the Northwestern Vermont Board of Realtors.

Curtis is a frequent teacher at seminars geared towards first time home buyers in Chittenden and Franklin County. Curtis brings many years of experience in training to these seminars and is a dynamic speaker.

Active in the Vermont Homebuilders Association; Curtis frequently offers seminars on subjects relating to real estate and home ownership. He is also a member of the Chittenden County Commercial Real Estate Association. Currently Curtis is a member of the The Ethan Allen Club and chairs the Membership Committee.

 Curtis is involved in BNI (Business Networking International, Inc.) and has served in the capacity of President and Educational Coordinator.

Recent community involvement has been as a Board Member of the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce and in charge of the Helping Hands Committee for Essex Alliance Church.

Sharrah is currently working on obtaining her Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designation. The education and training is providing her with valuable tools and resources to offer Buyers.

Sharrah is active in BNI (Business Networking International, Inc.) and has served as the Education Coordinator.
