John brings much expertise to the recreational property industry with over 30 years of multifaceted experience in the field of forestry. Serving mainly as a self-employed consulting forester, his clients consisted of private, municipal, industrial and government forested landowners interested in managing their land for multiple use. John continues to assist private landowners in enrolling into Vermont’s Current Use program and creating a forest management plan that fit their goals and meet State requirements.
An avid outdoorsman, John has witnessed most species of wildlife in the Northeast. From moles to voles, deer to bear and moose, woodcock to turkey, he’s seen them all in their native habitat.
His interests include snowmobiling, ATV’s and motorcycling.
John has served as a property assessor in many Bennington County towns. This has provided him an excellent understanding of local property values.This experience will be invaluable to help Buyers choose the “right” property and providing Sellers current market value and selecting a selling price.
